Rules & Regulations for Sacred Heart Cemetery

  1. The Cemetery Corporation transfers only the privilege of burial to the purchaser of graves, and not the title to the land itself.
  2. Endowed care is obligatory for all graves.
  3. A space of ONE FOOT is reserved in front of each monument for the planting of live flowers. These flowers may not interfere with the care of the cemetery. No fences or enclosures are permitted around these flower beds.
  4. Potted plants are permitted on top of the grave, within the designated ONE FOOT area. Potted plants must not be dug into the ground. Such pots will be removed immediately.
  5. Cut flowers are permitted in suitable containers (such as tin, aluminum, plastic, etc.) NO GLASS CONTAINERS ARE PERMITTED IN THE CEMETERY. THEY ARE EXTREMELY DANGEROUS. Cut flowers should be removed within ten days.
  6. Artificial flowers & decorations are permitted between November 1st and 10 days after Easter. These, too, should be placed in suitable containers, and not dug into the ground.
  7. Planting of SHRUBS AND TREES IS FORBIDDEN. This has been in effort since January 1972. All existing trees and shrubs must be trimmed to a height not exceeding TWO FEET. Overgrown trees and shrubs have caused excessive difficulty in opening graves, and caring for the cemetery.
  8. Votive Lamps are strictly forbidden. The ONLY TIME they will be allowed will be on ALL SOULS DAY, and the ten days thereafter.
  9. The planting of grass, putting down of sod, fertilizing of graves, or cutting of grass, are not permitted. This work is done by the Cemetery Corporation.
  10. No PETS AND DOGS are allowed in the cemetery at any time, or for any reason.

Prawa i Reguły odnośnie Cmentarza Serca Jezusowego

  1. Przedsiebiorstwo cmentarza przekazjuje TYLKO przywilej pogrzebania, dla zakupujących groby, nie zaś prawo do ziemi.
  2. Dożywotnia opieka obejmuje wszystkie groby.
  3. Przestrzeń JEDNEJ STOPY z przodu pomnika może być użyta na sadzenie żywych kwiatów. Kwiaty te nie mogą przeszkadzać w porządkowniu cmentarza, ani też nie można stawiać ogrodzeń dla tych kwiatów.
  4. Doniczkowe kwiaty są dozwolone, można je stawiać na wierzchu, w miejscu jednej stopy od pomnika. Doniczkowe kwiaty nie mogą być wkopywane w ziemię.
  5. Cięte kwiaty są dozwolone jedynie w odpowiednich pojemnikach/flakony z blachy, aluminium, plastykowe. Nie zezwala się na szklane flakony. Są one bardzo niebezpieczne. Cięte kwiaty mają być usunięte w ciągu 10-ciu dni.
  6. Sztuczne kwiaty i dekoracje są dozwolone od 1-go listopada do 10 dni po Wielkanocy. Takie ozdoby również mają być umieszczone w odpowiednich pojemnikach i nie mogą być wkopywane w ziemię.
  7. Sadzenie krzewów i drzew jest zabronione – ta zasada weszła w życie od stycznia 1972 roku. Wszystkie istniejące drzewa i krzewy muszą być obcinane do wysokości nie przekraczającej 2 stopy. Rozrośnięte drzewa i krzewy niezmiernie utrudniają otwarcie grobów i opiekę na cmentarzu.
  8. Lampy wotywne są ściśle zabronione. JEDYNY czas, w którym się zezwala, to Dzień Wszystkich Świętych i Dzień Zaduszny  oraz przez 10 dni po tych świętach.
  9. Sianie trawy, rozsiewanie sztucznych nawozów i obcinanie trawy jest zabronione. Ta praca należy do Zarządu Cmentarza.
  10. Psów czy innych zwierząt nie wolno wprowadzać na cmentarz w żadnych czasie i dla żadnej przyczyny.
